Season Launch after summer
In the middle of the 2009/2010 season, Dance Works Rotterdam welcomed a new artistic director: André Gingras. After summer we think it's time to present the new Dance Works Rotterdam. So, on Sunday, September 19th, we organize a season launch in our own studios.

LIBIDO
 LIBIDO, the most recent collaboration between Dave St. Pierre and André Gingras premiered on Monday, July 5th during Julidans, summerfestival for international contemporary dance in Amsterdam. From next season, LIBIDO forms part of the international repertory of Dance Works Rotterdam. De first peformances are already planned: Wednesday, 25th and Thursday, 26th August in Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, Frankfurt am Main (Germany).

ANATOMICA
ANATOMICA will be the first stage production of André Gingras as artistic director of Dance Works Rotterdam. The new piece Anatomica#1 together with the internationally acclaimed Anatomica#3 forms an evening full program around the most extraordinary abilities and profound fragility of the human body.
Anatomica#3 was originally produced by the Rambert Dance Company in 2007.

Back to school
Dance Works Rotterdam works together with Dutch high school INHolland Rotterdam to make their pilotweek around entrepeneurship a succes. With a grand kick-off in the big church of Rotterdam and a thunderous closing spectacle in the Maassilo, an industrial event hall in Rotterdam.
