 Last performance in Rotterdam
On Tuesday, May 11th, it is the last time that 3/Sense/Scene/Scenarios can be seen in Rotterdam. The last chance to see this performance in Rotterdam, with new work by American Jonah Bokaer, duo Meyer-Chaffaud and former artistic director Ton Simons.
After the performance, the director of the theatre, Jan Zoet, will interview new artistic director André Gingras who joined the company on March 1st.

InterACT: Choreography Lab
Our dancers show the result of the InterACT: Choreography Lab workshop on May 7th and 8th. During the workshop they have explored their choreographic talents, supported by artistic director André Gingras and dramaturge Wojtek Klimczyk.
For the makers the opinion of the public is highly important. After the performance Kristin de Groot (coordinator dance department, ArtEZ) leads a debate which allows the audience to exchange their views with the choreographers about their pieces. The makers can then rework their piece for the following day's presentation in response to the feedback. Each evening the dance program evolves inspired by our public.

Les Commerçants
 The video-installation Les Commerçants by André Gingras in collaboration with Oona Spengler can be viewed during two festivals in May: the Urban Explorers Festival in Dordrecht (Netherlands) and the Cutting Edge Move Festival in Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt (Germany).
In a series of short dance portraits, the video installation Les Commerçants shows a professional circus artist, an European boxing champion, and a porn actor, speaking about the development, marketability and value of their body.

 In our studio
André Gingras starts rehearsals for Readymade Dance, a new piece for two dancers, in May. At the end of the month the whole team travels to Robert Wilson's Watermill Center in New York to continue working on the piece. The Watermill Center organizes an open rehearsal of Readymade Dance on Sunday, June 19th.
Work-in-progress can also be seen during The Other Body Festival, from June 25th until June 27th in the Melkweg Theater in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
